Here are some photos of the Arranmore lifeboat crew, and some shots of the weather conditions that were faced before, during and after the rescue took place.

These images show damage on the inside after the boat capsized a couple of times!!!

 

Here you can see the sail ripped and torn through the force of the storm.

 

 

The lifeboat has now attached a tow rope, but if you look at the angle Nephele is laying at, the water is still fierce.

 

This pic shows the Y boat coming in, and Keith safely on board the lifeboat, with Nephele being towed along behind.

 

 

Even though the water was calmer than before this picture shows how rough the water was even after taking Keith onto the lifeboat via the Y boat.

 

 

And here is a pic of all the Arranmore lifeboat crew that spent 22 hours finding Keith and bringing him in to safety. (my name is not Steve, my name is Keith)
